Project Quantity Surveyor

Join a permanent Project Quantity Surveyor role in a well‑established main contractor, overseeing health, residential and government building refurbishment and new build projects valued from £0.5 million to £8 million as part of a 10‑year framework.

• Analyse tender returns and collate information for discussion with the team
• Support the team to increase and improve upon existing supply chain
• Compile and issue sub‑contract orders and ensure they are signed, returned and supported by documentation
• Review and sign off on sub‑contract applications and prepare and send payment notices
• Undertake detailed internal and external cash‑flow forecasts
• Produce monthly AFA’s for clients
• Produce monthly valuations and agree them with clients
• Work closely with the site team to ensure all costs are recorded, providing support as needed
• Issue variation orders when required, ensuring relevant documentation substantiates them
• Attend site visits to assist and support both the commercial and operational sides of the business
• Compile, complete and issue detailed and accurate CVRs to directors

• Strong track record working on all aspects of build and refurbishment projects
• Ability to work as part of a small team
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency using office IT applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word or equivalent software
