Electrical Estimator / Contracts Manager ‘Commercial’

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Estimator / Contracts Manager ‘Commercial’ to join our client.

Duties will include:

• Review, preparation and submission of Electrical tenders, ensuring that all return date deadlines are met.
• Preparation and submission of Requests for Information (RFIs) during the tender stage, maintaining effective communication with clients, consultants and design teams to clarify project requirements.
• Pricing Procurement, sub-contractors, specialist sub-contractors & establish long lead time items etc
• Ability to measure elements of works and create itemised Bills of Quantities as necessary
• Finalisation of all tender bids, attend pre-order meetings, secure contracts and hand over package to M&E Contracts Managers.
• Liaison with clients with regards to Electrical project variations and ensuring that all variations are recorded and instructed where deemed necessary.
• Creating and maintaining accurate estimating records using the company’s estimating software and the Microsoft Office suite of software tools.
