This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager looking for a minimum 12-month contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right person.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for managing the day-to-day delivery of the development, ensuring the project is completed safely, on programme, to the required quality standards and within budget.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing the project from construction through to completion
* Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
* Monitoring programme, progress and key project milestones
* Ensuring works are delivered to the required quality standards
* Managing health & safety and ensuring compliance across the development
* Managing project costs and commercial performance
* Attending and leading project meetings
* Liaising with clients, stakeholders and external consultants
* Identifying and resolving issues to keep the project on track
* Ensuring the development is delivered to the required specification and programme
About You
We are looking for a proven Project Manager with experience in new build residential construction, ideally with experience delivering housing developments from start through to completion.
You should have:
* Strong project management experience within the construction industry
* Proven experience delivering new build residential/housing projects
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
* A good understanding of construction programmes, quality and health & safety
* The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors effectively
* A proactive approach and strong attention to detail
