Demolition Operatives – Oxford – 2–3 Weeks + Potential Ongoing Work

Stridden Limited are recruiting for experienced Demolition Operatives for a project in Oxford.

Location:

Oxford
Duration:
Initially 2–3 weeks, with the potential for a few months' ongoing work if further work is secured
Start: ASAP

Duties

The successful Demolition Operatives will be carrying out general demolition and strip-out duties, including:

* Demolition and soft-strip works

* Removing fixtures, fittings and materials

* Site clearance and waste removal

* Using hand and power tools where competent

* Working safely in areas where appropriate RPE is required

* Following site RAMS and Health & Safety procedures

* General labouring and assisting the demolition team as required

Requirements

Essential:

* Valid CSCS Card

* Valid Asbestos Awareness

* Face Fit Test

* Must have the correct mask/RPE that they have been face-fit tested for

* Previous demolition / strip-out experience

* Full PPE

* Reliable and able to work safely within a demolition environment

Preferred:

* CCDO Card – highly desirable

* Previous experience working on commercial demolition projects

Duration

The initial project is expected to last approximately 2–3 weeks.

There is a strong possibility of the work becoming ongoing for a further few months, subject to additional work being secured.
