Rob Phone: I have a great opportunity for a Design Manager to join an award-winning Main Contractor on a permanent basis, based out of their Oxford region.

The company operate throughout central and southern England, delivering quality D&B, new build, refurbishment and restoration projects up to 16m in value.

They have been around for many years and have formed successful long-term partnerships with their clients by delivering efficient, high quality projects. The work in a number of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Restoration, Commercial, Industrial and Sports and Leisure.

The company have a huge pipeline of work and are looking to bring in an experienced Design Manager. The ideal person will be familiar with D&B projects, will have worked on both new build and refurbishment schemes and ideally covered projects within the Education, Healthcare and Commercial sectors.

Design Manager:

Experience of managing and providing technical guidance and support within a Main Contracting environment

Familiar with D&B projects

New build and refurbishment experience

Track record working across multiple sectors including Education, Healthcare and Commercial is advantageous

Ideally C.I.A.T Qualified Degree Qualified / HNC / ONCAutoCAD, Excel, Word, Power Projects, Power Point Design and engineering construction knowledge

Technical and Building Construction knowledge

Building Regulations knowledge

Good understanding of Planning legislation

Able to commute to Oxford on a daily basis
