Role Overview
The Site Manager will support the Senior Site Manager in delivering drylining and internal fit‑out packages on a live project in Oxford. The role requires strong technical knowledge of partitions, ceilings, SFS, and associated internal works, along with proven experience managing subcontractors, quality, and programme.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring works progress safely and in line with programme.
- Manage drylining subcontractors, monitor productivity, and ensure installation meets specification.
- Conduct inspections, manage snagging, and maintain high workmanship standards across partitions, ceilings, and SFS.
- Report progress to the Senior Site Manager, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain site safety, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure RAMS are followed.
- Manage multiple trades, resolve on‑site issues, and maintain workflow continuity.
- Ensure works follow drawings, details, and manufacturer requirements.
- Support communication with the wider project team, reporting issues and progress.
- Assist with planning deliveries, material storage, and sequencing of works.
- Proven background managing drylining packages (partitions, MF ceilings, SFS).
- Experience as Site Manager, Finishing Manager, or Fit‑Out Manager.
- Strong understanding of internal systems, fire stopping, and interface details.
- Valid CSCS and SMSTS.
- Ability to work closely with the Senior Site Manager and wider team.
- Capable of managing multiple trades and maintaining site structure.
- Must be able to work full‑time on site in Oxford, also holds a full driving license.
