Are you an experienced General Foreman with a background in highways looking for your next freelance opportunity?
A new freelance opportunity has become available for a General Foreman based in Oxfordshire, working on planned highways term maintenance across the area.
The Opportunity
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of site activities and gangs, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
The schemes will cover a variety of highways maintenance and civils works, including:

· Road repairs and replacement

· Footway repairs and replacement

· Drainage, ditches and grips

· Kerbs and edgings

· Road markings

· Modular surfaces

· Traffic management

· Reactive repairs
 
You'll be working across multiple locations, coordinating site teams and subcontractors while ensuring works are completed in line with programme, quality and health & safety requirements.
What We're Looking For

· Previous experience as a General Foreman / Foreman within highways

· Strong understanding of highways maintenance and civils works

· Experience supervising gangs and subcontractors

· Good understanding of health & safety and site documentation

· CSCS

· SMSTS or SSSTS

· First Aid
