Procurement and Contracts Manager – UK, Oxford – Initial 6-Month Contract – Life Sciences
What you’ll deliver:- Lead procurement and contract management activities for a major laboratory and office fit-out project.
- Manage procurement activities from tender through to contract award and purchase order issuance.
- Manage existing consultancy, supplier and construction contracts.
- Coordinate and manage supplier NDAs and confidentiality agreements.
- Ensure contract documentation is accurately maintained and controlled.
- Proven procurement and contract management experience within construction, fit-out or capital project environments.
- Demonstrable experience negotiating commercial agreements with suppliers and consultants.
- Excellent organisational skills, record keeping and document control capability.
- Laboratory, life sciences, pharmaceutical or R&D facility experience would be beneficial.
- Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts, including variations, instructions, amendments and delay notices.
