Design Manager

Our client, a leading firm in the engineering and construction sector, is currently seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their team for a WWTW project.

• Oversee the design processes to ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with various project stakeholders to ensure seamless design execution.
• Manage design documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Lead design meetings and provide technical guidance to the design team.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications.
• Resolve any design‑related issues that arise during project execution.
• Support the project team in understanding design requirements and expectations.
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure design alignment and integration.

• Experience in design management within the engineering and construction industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with design software and tools.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Thorough understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in water treatment works or similar projects is desirable.
• Local to Oxford or within a commutable distance.
