We are working with a prestigious client — a CQC-registered provider delivering high-quality dermatology services across the UK. They work in partnership with NHS commissioners to provide patient-centred, efficient, and outcome-driven dermatology care in community settings. Their mission is to bring accessible, specialist skin care closer to home.

The Role

We are seeking a Consultant Dermatologist to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver specialist dermatology care in a flexible role that supports work‑life balance and clinical development.

As part of our clinical team, you will manage a diverse caseload of dermatological conditions, contribute to minor procedures, and help shape the delivery of modern, community-based dermatology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct dermatology outpatient clinics (new and follow-up patients)
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of skin conditions in line with NICE and BAD guidelines
  • Perform minor procedures including biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and curettage
  • Provide advice & guidance support to GPs where required
  • Participate in audits, service evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with consultants, GPwERs, and nurse specialists
  • Support and supervise junior clinicians or trainees as appropriate
  • Fulfil GMC appraisal and revalidation requirements
  • Full GMC registration on the Specialist Register with a licence to practise
  • Broad clinical experience in general dermatology, including inflammatory skin disease and skin cancer
  • Skilled in minor surgical dermatology procedures
  • Strong communication, consultation, and team-working skills
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
Why Join?
  • Flexible sessional or part-/full-time roles tailored to your availability
  • Collaborative, forward-thinking team
  • Supportive clinical governance and mentoring
  • Opportunity to shape community dermatology models
  • Competitive remuneration
