Main duties of the jobEmergency Medicine Clinical Fellow equivalent to ST3 level or above.
Full time clinical fellows work a full shift rota across both departments, including day shifts, evening shifts, nights and weekends. The majority patients attending OUH EDs are ambulatory, and the majority will be discharged home at the end of their visit. Consequently, clinical fellows will spend much of their time diagnosing and treating ambulatory patients with minor illness and injury. However, clinical fellows will receive exposure to the full range of patients and conditions attending OUH emergency departments, with shifts in resus and paediatric areas.
