Geography Teacher – Part‑time, Long‑term Temporary (Jan 2026)
The school provides a calm and purposeful learning environment where pupils feel safe and supported. Leaders have high expectations for behaviour and achievement, and staff work collaboratively to deliver a broad and ambitious curriculum. Pupils benefit from engaging lessons and strong pastoral care, helping them develop academically and personally.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging Geography lessons using pre‑prepared plans
- Ensure pupils remain on task and maintain a positive learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Support pupils with queries and encourage participation in learning activities
- Monitor pupil engagement and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Strong subject knowledge in Geography across Key Stages
- Ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Previous experience teaching Geography in a secondary school setting is desirable
Salary: your pay will be paid weekly through PAYE, dependent on experience.
