Create a lasting impact as you guide students through activities, excursions, and daily life, promoting a safe and positive experience
As an Activity Coordinator, you’ll lead a team of Activity Leaders to deliver exciting, safe, and memorable experiences. From high‑energy games to inspiring excursions, you’ll bring creativity, confidence, and spark to every moment.
DatesCourse dates between the start of July and mid‑August 2026
Pay details£812.51 per week (£725 weekly pay + accrued holiday pay, paid in the final payroll)

Saturday to Saturday, up to 55 hours per week on a shift pattern with overnight duties. 1 day off per week.
Reports toDeputy Centre Director / Activity & Excursion Manager
Main duties- Activity planning and delivery:
Support centre management on site in delivering the social and cultural programme, including excursions, day trips and restaurant meals. - Excursions:
Contribute to the planning and delivery of engaging, age‑appropriate day trips with enrichment activities that inspire curiosity and participation. - Programme oversight:
Contribute and follow the daily activity schedule, including evening and recreational sessions, ensuring a fun, balanced, and well‑run timetable. - People coordination:
Manage the performance and behaviour of Activity Leaders and coordinate student conduct by encouraging participation and using clear, respectful communication to set expectations. - Quality assurance:
Oversee and actively engage in activities ensuring each experience and activity is enriching, well‑run, and fun. - Team culture:
Contribute to a positive, supportive, and collaborative working environment across all teams on site. - Pastoral care:
Promote student wellbeing through positive supervision, communication, and teamwork with the Welfare Team. - Residential duties:
Perform residential duties including morning registrations, meal time supervision, curfew checks and overnight phone duty.
You’re organised and proactive, guiding students with a firm yet friendly approach to ensure discipline and a positive experience. Passionate about student development, you handle administrative tasks seamlessly while driving engagement across the course.
Essential- Experience of working with young people in a residential setting.
- Clear evidence of excellent communication skills and an ability to lead a team and a diverse group of students.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Right to work in the UK (we cannot sponsor work visas for this role).
- Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety procedures in a residential or educational setting.
- Experience planning and leading activities to a set budget.
- Familiarity with Oxford and/or Cambridge.
