The Humanities department offers a broad curriculum, from ancient civilisations to modern political history, supported by engaging trips and access to digital archives. Staff are encouraged to collaborate and share innovative teaching methods.

Teach History across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to contribute to KS5 if desired. Plan lessons that develop historical inquiry, source evaluation, and essay-writing skills. Encourage students to see history as a living subject with lessons for today’s world.
