Assistant Librarian (Part Time, Job Share)
The Godolphin and Latymer School is a leading independent day school for girls in Hammersmith, London. The position offers an opportunity to work in a modern library environment with around 21,000 physical books and additional digital resources.
Job SummaryAssist the Librarian and support library operations on a job‑share, part‑time basis during term time from September 2026.
Responsibilities- Maintain a suitable learning environment for students.
- Respond to queries from students and staff.
- Assist in library lessons.
- Catalogue, identify, and make available additional resources.
- Supervise the library during designated times.
- Suitable qualifications and experience for an assistant librarian role.
Monday‑Thursday 2:30 pm‑7:00 pm and Friday 2:30 pm‑6:00 pm during term time.
SalarySalary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Legal RequirementsThe post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; applicants must declare all convictions and cautions.
