Monarch Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a lovely, small and welcoming primary school in Great Milton. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their friendly team from September 2026 for a full academic year.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to support children in a nurturing and community-focused school environment. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils' learning, helping them to reach their full potential both academically and socially.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
  • Working with small groups of pupils or on a 1:1 basis
  • Assisting with the delivery of engaging lessons and learning materials
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting children with additional needs where required
About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Caring, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children
  • Ideally experienced in a primary school setting (desired but not essential)
  • A strong communicator with the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work as part of a team
