About the School

We nurture strategic, analytical, creative, and imaginative thinking in students aged 11‑18 at three school sites offering an intellectually stimulating environment. Students have access to co‑curricular activities, academic programs, state‑of‑the‑art facilities including a new Arts Centre and University of Oxford sports facilities. We are part of Nord Anglia Education, preparing students for success in university and beyond, with safeguarding as a priority that requires an enhanced DBS check.

We are seeking to appoint a Head of House to start in September 2026. The Head of House will lead, manage, and conduct the day‑to‑day operation of a boarding house, ensuring every student experiences a safe, supportive, inclusive and enriching residential environment.

• Leadership and management of boarding house operations.
• Day‑to‑day oversight of student welfare and house activities.
• Maintain safety, support, inclusivity and enrichment of the residential environment.

• Relevant experience in boarding house/housemaster role or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and safe‑working protocols; enhanced DBS check required.
• Work authorisation to work in the UK (work visas not offered).
