We are looking to appoint a motivated and proactive CCF School Staff Instructor (SSI) to start in September 2026.

• Commit to a 2.5‑day‑per‑week schedule during term time, with an additional two weeks of commitment and flexibility in working days; availability on Wednesday and Friday is advantageous.
• Deliver a cadet training programme that builds confidence, leadership, resilience and teamwork, and support pupils to achieve their full potential in a structured and rewarding environment.
• Work with the progressive CCF contingent focused on RAF and Royal Navy sections, leveraging the riverside location and proximity to local RAF flying bases.

• Actively involved in a CCF, ACF, or tri‑Service equivalent programme.
• Recent service as a Senior Non‑Commissioned Officer (SNCO) in the Armed Forces is beneficial.

Shiplake College is an independent boarding and day school for around 580 pupils aged 11 to 18. The college recently became fully co‑educational and offers small class sizes, excellent facilities and dedicated teaching staff.
