Departmental Lecturer in Computer Science

About the Role

The Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford, is seeking a Departmental Lecturer in Computer Science. This will be a fixed-term appointment until 31 August 2030.

The post holder will be a full member of the team responsible for teaching and supervision of undergraduate and graduate students within the Department of Computer Science.

You should hold a relevant Ph.D/D.Phil with post‑qualification teaching and research experience, an aptitude for teaching and awareness of pedagogic methods. Excellent communication and organizational skills, and effective time management are within the essential criteria.

This role is to be hybrid, subject to mutual agreement with the line manager.
