Reed Education Cheltenham is currently recruiting for a highly experienced, dedicated, and passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our trusted supply network, supporting local schools and nursery settings on a daily, short-term, and long-term basis.
You will be supporting settings across Oxford delivering high-quality support within Early Years environments.
Role Overview As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development. This will include working with individuals, small groups, and whole classes, using your knowledge, specialist skills, and experience to meet each child’s unique needs.
You will contribute to creating an inspiring and engaging learning environment, supporting the delivery of the Early Years Curriculum, and assisting in monitoring and assessing children’s progress.
Key Responsibilities Provide pastoral and academic support within school and nursery environments.
Foster a positive and nurturing learning atmosphere, implementing behaviour management strategies in line with setting policies.
Support pupils in achieving individual learning goals through 1:1, group, and whole-class support.
Assist with planning, delivering, and evaluating the Early Years curriculum alongside the class teacher.
Contribute to classroom organisation, displays, and learning resources.
Monitor and assess pupil progress using a range of strategies.
Promote and safeguard the welfare of children at all times.
What We’re Looking ForNVQ Level 3 in Early Years (essential).Strong experience working within an EYFS setting.
A caring, supportive, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
Availability for long-term supply roles within the same setting.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one -£49.50 via Reed)
Ability to provide two recent professional references.
Ability to commute to schools and nurseries in Oxford and surrounding areas.
Willingness to register with Reed Education.
What We Offer Daily pay rate: £128 – £152 (dependent on experience)
