We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support our educators in providing a nurturing and effective learning environment for children. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to communicate effectively with both students and staff, demonstrating patience and understanding, particularly when working with children who have special educational needs, including autism. This role is essential in fostering an inclusive atmosphere that encourages all children to thrive.

Duties Assist the lead teacher in delivering engaging lessons and educational activities tailored to the individual needs of students

Support children with special educational needs, ensuring they receive appropriate guidance and care

Help manage classroom behaviour by implementing strategies that promote positive interactions among students

Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise

Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive learning environment that caters to diverse learning styles

Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to child education and care

Experience

Previous experience working with children is highly desirable, particularly in an educational or childcare setting

Familiarity with special educational needs, especially autism, is advantageousA background in toddler care or early childhood education will be considered a plus Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues effectivelyA commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that respects the individuality of each child is crucial for success in this role
