Are you a psychology graduate or undergraduate with ambitions of becoming an aspiring educational psychologist. If you're looking to gain meaningful, hands-on experience before progressing into post graduate study or a career in psychology, this is the perfect opportunity to take the next step.

A welcoming school based in Oxford - City of Oxford is seeking a passionate and dedicated Aspiring Educational Psychologist. As an Aspiring Educational Psychologist, you'll work closely with children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Speech and Language difficulties, and other additional learning needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

The role
  • Provide 1-1 and small group mentoring support with children with SEN needs
  • Support the creation of a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement with learning
  • Help children develop coping strategies and social skills
About you
  • A degree in psychology or a related subject
  • A genuine passion for child development, special educational needs and psychology
  • Patient, resilient and compassionate approach
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills

Previous experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential
