Behaviour Mentor Behaviour Mentor - Swindon | Full-Time / Part-Time | £85-£110 Per Day | September 2026 Start Are you passionate about helping children overcome behavioural and emotional barriers to learning? We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming school in Swindon, providing targeted support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and additional behavioural or emotional needs.

This Behaviour Mentor role is ideal for someone with experience supporting children or young people with behavioural, emotional or additional needs, as well as graduates and aspiring professionals interested in Psychology, Behaviour Support, Pastoral Care, Education or SEND.

The Role As a Behaviour Mentor, your responsibilities will include:
Providing consistent one-to-one and targeted behavioural support throughout the school day. Building trusting relationships that promote pupils' confidence, self-esteem and emotional wellbeing. Implementing personalised behaviour support plans and agreed positive behaviour strategies. Encouraging positive social skills, respectful communication and appropriate interactions with peers and staff. Supporting pupils to re-engage with lessons and overcome behavioural barriers to learning. Working collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff to monitor behaviour, share observations and support pupil progress.

Following school safeguarding, health and safety and behaviour policies at all times. About You The ideal Behaviour Mentor will be calm, patient and compassionate, with a genuine understanding that behaviour can communicate unmet emotional, social or additional needs. You will be resilient when managing challenging situations and committed to helping pupils understand their behaviour, develop positive coping strategies and achieve their potential.

What We Offer This Behaviour Mentor position offers £85-£110 per day, depending on experience, with PAYE weekly pay and full-time or part-time opportunities starting in September 2026.
