Specialist SEND Tutor – 1:1 Alternative Provision
Make a Lasting Difference Through Personalised Learning. We support children and young people who require an alternative approach to education. Many of the learners we work with have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and additional needs that make mainstream education challenging.
We are looking for dedicated Specialist SEND Tutors to deliver high‑quality, one‑to‑one tuition that helps learners re‑engage with education, build confidence, and achieve meaningful progress.
Location / Pay / Hours / Contract- Location:
Oxfordshire - Pay: £30‑£42 per hour

Part‑Time or Full‑Time
- Deliver personalised one‑to‑one tuition in safe, approved learning environments
- Plan engaging lessons and targeted interventions that reflect each learner's preferred learning style
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to maximise engagement and achievement
- Promote safeguarding and ensure the wellbeing of every learner at all times
- Maintain accurate session records and contribute to progress reviews and educational planning
We're looking for compassionate and adaptable professionals who are committed to helping learners overcome barriers to education.
Preferred Qualifications- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant teaching and SEND experience
- Experience supporting children and young people with complex additional needs
- Strong behaviour management and relationship‑building skills
- Good understanding of safeguarding practices, or a willingness to complete safeguarding training
- An Enhanced DBS certificate, or willingness to obtain one
- Competitive hourly rates of £30‑£42 per hour (Qualified Teachers earn a minimum of £35/hr)
- Flexible part‑time and full‑time opportunities during term time
