Teaching Tomorrow is recruiting adaptable and dependable Cover Teachers for secondary schools across West Oxfordshire. From a single day to a longer placement, every assignment offers fresh experiences without tying you to the same timetable week after week. Choose the days that suit you and discover a range of supportive school communities throughout the area.

What

you'll be doing
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of secondary subjects
  • Keep students focused, motivated and on task
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with each school's policies
  • Maintain a calm, safe and positive learning environment
  • Provide useful feedback to the regular teacher or school leadership
You'll need
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
  • Recent experience within a UK secondary school
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities
  • The flexibility to adapt quickly to different schools, subjects and year groups
