ASD Teaching Assistant - Oxford Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and additional needs? A Secondary SEN School in Oxford is seeking a dedicated and caring ASD Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Therapists, or Teachers. As an ASD Teaching Assistant , you will:
Deliver 1:1 and small group support tailored to students with ASD and SEN. Support students with communication, emotional regulation, confidence, independence, and engagement in learning. Help create a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment. Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support individual learning and development. Observe and monitor students' progress, wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement throughout the school day.

We're looking for an ASD Teaching Assistant who is:
Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young people with ASD. A confident communicator with a genuine passion for working within SEN. Interested in gaining practical experience before pursuing a career in psychology, therapy, or education. Able to build strong, positive relationships with both students and colleagues.
