Science / Biology Teacher - Secondary School

Salary: £160-£220 per day
Contract:
Temporary, ongoing until Christmas
Hours:
Full-time, Monday - Friday
Empowering Learning is seeking a QTS Science Teacher, ideally with a Biology specialism, for an outstanding secondary school in OX29 from November until Christmas.
The role will involve teaching KS3 Science and some KS4, with minimal marking and no lesson planning required. You will also have the support of experienced Science Technicians, making this a great opportunity for a teacher looking for a well-supported role.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and some KS4
Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
Build positive relationships with students and staff
Support student progress and development
Work effectively alongside Science Technicians
Requirements:
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Secondary Science teaching experience
Biology specialism preferred but not essential
Strong classroom management skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
