Job Title: Occupational Hygienist

Location: Oxford (Hybrid)

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + Benefits

A growing environmental and occupational health consultancy is looking to appoint an Occupational Hygienist to join their expanding team in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional with 1-3 years' experience and BOHS modules underway to take the next step in a supportive, well-structured consultancy environment. As an Occupational Hygienist, you will play a hands‑on role delivering workplace exposure assessments across multiple sectors – helping clients manage risks, meet compliance obligations, and improve long‑term employee wellbeing.

You will gain exposure to a wide range of projects, with full support for BOHS training and fast progression opportunities.

• £30,000 - £40,000 DOE

• Conducting workplace exposure monitoring (dust, fumes, noise, vibration)
• Completing LEV assessments and supporting COSHH reviews
• Preparing detailed technical reports and risk assessments
• Providing evidence‑based recommendations to clients
• Supporting junior colleagues and contributing to team development
• Liaising with clients, regulators, and site contacts

• 1‑3 years' experience in occupational hygiene or workplace monitoring
• BOHS modules (W501‑W507) completed or in progress
• Degree in Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Science, or similar
• Strong communication, organisation, and analytical skills
• Full UK driving licence essential
