The Role
GAP Lifting Hire & Sales offers one of the largest ranges of lifting equipment and accessories in the industry. The Senior Regional Hoist Engineer is a predominantly site based role responsible for installing, dismantling and maintaining our hire fleet of rack and pinion (Geda manufactured) construction hoists. You will diagnose and repair faults, update service records and complete test certificates.
Qualifications- Experience working as a Hoist Engineer or similar with relevant mechanical qualifications, or equivalent time served.
- NVQ level 2 qualified and working towards level 3 in Hoist Operations is ideal but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and assist other team members when required.
- A customer‑focused approach and strong attention to detail.
- Valid driving licence required.
