Quality Resident Engineer (m/f/d)
Department: Automotive Quality & Engineering
Employment Type: Full-time employment
Location & Travel: The role is 100% resident at the supplier site in one of the following locations – Oxford, Goodwood, Hams Hall, Swindon.
Start Date: Immediately / By arrangement
Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level

Our Resident Engineers work directly on‑site at the OEM, acting as the crucial link between suppliers and vehicle manufacturers in a technically skilled, communicative, and solution‑oriented environment.
Your Responsibilities- Represent and support supplier quality directly at the OEM site
- Analyze and assess quality issues on components and systems
- Conduct and evaluate root‑cause analyses (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, FMEA)
- Coordinate and track corrective and preventive actions between OEM and suppliers
- Participate in quality reviews, technical meetings, and project discussions
- Support sample approvals, release processes, and engineering changes
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation
- Drive continuous improvement of processes and quality standards
- Degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.) or equivalent technical qualification
- Experience in the automotive industry, ideally in quality, development, or supplier management
- Solid knowledge of automotive standards and methods (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, etc.)
- Strong communication skills, professional presence, and assertiveness
- Analytical mindset and structured, proactive working style
- Very good German and English language skills (depending on location)
- Willingness to work at one of our OEM locations in Germany or the UK
