Position: Local Exhaust Ventilation Engineer (Permanent)
LEV Engineer – Field Based (UK Travel)

Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 + Overtime + Company Vehicle
OTE £45,000 – £55,000

Full Time | Permanent

A specialist UK engineering and compliance provider is seeking an experienced LEV Engineer to join its growing field team due to increased project demand.

This role involves carrying out thorough examination and testing of Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems across laboratories, healthcare, research and industrial environments nationwide.

The Role

* Thorough examination and testing of LEV systems (COSHH Reg 9 compliant)

* Airflow measurement and system performance testing

* Inspection of containment and ventilation equipment

* Producing detailed LEV compliance reports

* Identifying system faults and recommending corrective actions

* Liaising directly with clients on site

This is a field-based role covering the UK with occasional overnight stays.

Essential Requirements

* BOHS P601 – Thorough Examination & Testing of LEV Systems (or working towards)

* Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in LEV testing

* Experience producing LEV compliance reports

* Strong understanding of COSHH and HSE guidance

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Willingness to travel nationwide

Desirable (Not Essential)

* BOHS P602 or P604

* HVAC / Building Services qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND)

* CSCS / IPAF
