Building Services Apprentice

*** Actively participate in the company mentorship program, as a mentee
* Size Building Services Engineering systems to suit regulations, standards and requirements provided by Design Staff
* Perform calculations for mechanical (heating, cooling and ventilation loads) and electrical (lighting levels, circuit sizing etc)
* Ensure portions of the Introba ’s quality assurance design requirements are being followed
* Ensure Introba ’s drafting standards are being followed
* Set up Revit models or AutoCAD drawing files
* Maintain AutoCAD files and Revit models
* Co-ordinate mechanical and electrical services in drafting software (assistance provided by Design Staff as needed)
* Detailed check of work prior to returning finished product to Designer.

- Working towards BEng (Hons) Building Services Engineering    Provide assistance to the team and other Design Staff as follows:  
* HVAC, Fire Protection, Electrical systems, Lighting, and Plumbing drafting as per mark-ups provided by Design Staff
* Building services design engineer (degree)
* Equal to Level 6 (Degree with honours)
* A Level BBC - Must include Mathematics and preferably a Science in either Chemistry or Physics (UCAS points: 112)
* T-level (Merit or above) in Construction:
Design, Surveying And Planning. (UCAS points: 120)
* BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma DDM in an Engineering subject area, with a minimum of merit in Mathematics and Further Mathematics. (UCAS
* points: 128)
* BTEC Level 3 National Diploma D D  in an Engineering subject area, with a minimum of merit in Mathematics and Further Mathematics.  (UCAS points: 112)
* Building Services Engineering Technician level 3 apprenticeship DD (UCAS points: 96) alongside grade Pass or Distinction at EPA, please get in contact with the LSBU Apprenticeships at  for Apprenticeships Routes
