Hazardous Waste Assessor

CK Group are recruiting for a Hazardous Waste Assessor to join a Waste Management and Environmental Services company at their site based near Oxford on a full‑time permanent basis.

The Hazardous Waste Assessor will be based at the company’s site and is easily commutable from Oxford, Didcot, Abingdon, Princes Risborough, High Wycombe and Reading.

Your main duties will be:

• Carrying out Technical Assessments of waste enquiries.
• Characterising and classifying waste materials.
• Managing Sales Enquiries according to requirements.
• Building and keeping strong customer relationships.
• Collaborating with colleagues in the Sales Team.
• Carrying out site visits and supporting the company at trade fairs.

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:

• Degree/HNC/HND in Chemistry or Environmental Science.
• Experience working with hazardous chemicals.
• Experience with high quality customer service.
• Excellent attention to detail and high communication skills (spoken and written).
