Our client is seeking a Platform Engineer to help design, build and maintain the infrastructure that supports high-performance engineering and data workloads. This role focuses on creating reliable, scalable environments that allow engineering teams to experiment, develop and process large volumes of data efficiently.

Working closely with engineers and technical specialists, you will help shape the platform that powers compute-intensive workflows and internal development environments.

This is a great opportunity for a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Dev Ops Engineer or Kubernetes Engineer who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and improving the systems other engineers rely on.

• Improve the performance, reliability and scalability of internal compute clusters

• Contribute to the technical direction of the infrastructure platform

You are an engineer who enjoys working close to the platform layer, building reliable systems that other teams depend on.

You may have experience with:

• Container technologies such as Docker
• Distributed systems and networking concepts
• Managing infrastructure for compute-intensive workloads
• Infrastructure-as-code or automation tooling
• Troubleshooting complex infrastructure and platform issues

Additional experience that could be useful includes:

• Python scripting or automation
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• Cloud platforms such as AWS
• Supporting data processing or research-driven engineering environments
