A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Project Geophysicist to join a leading independent geophysical consultancy in Oxford.

This team has an excellent reputation for innovation, technical excellence and high-quality survey solutions across the UK and internationally. The Project Geophysicist role offers exposure to major infrastructure, environmental, engineering and utility mapping projects.

The successful Project Geophysicist will be involved in all stages of project delivery including survey planning, fieldwork, data processing, interpretation and technical reporting. The Project Geophysicist will work with advanced geophysical technologies across a wide variety of challenging and rewarding sites, while collaborating with experienced technical specialists.

This growing consultancy is recognised for its cutting-edge approach to near-surface geophysics, strong investment in technology and supportive team culture.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences or a related discipline

  • Experience with in geophysical surveying or related consultancy work

  • Strong technical reporting and data interpretation skills

  • Willingness to travel and undertake field-based work

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Full right to work in the UK

  • Ability to live in or commute regularly to the Oxford office
