An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Associate Planner (MRTPI) to join a leading UK property consultancy, working as part of an established and highly respected planning team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced planner looking to step into a senior, client-facing role
, with real influence over project delivery and business growth.

The Opportunity

You will be joining a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, delivering planning advice across a broad and high-quality portfolio of projects.

Projects span:

  • Strategic land promotion
  • Residential and mixed-use developments
  • Rural and estate-based projects
  • Commercial and regeneration schemes

You will play a key role in:

  • Leading planning applications, appeals and strategic projects
  • Providing clear, commercially focused advice to clients
  • Building and managing strong client relationships
  • Supporting business development and winning new work
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members
  • Representing clients through the planning process, including negotiations and appeals

This is a role offering real autonomy, responsibility and progression within a well-established consultancy environment.

About You

We are looking for a confident and commercially minded planning professional who is ready to operate at Associate level.

You will have:

  • MRTPI Chartered status (essential)
  • Strong experience within a consultancy or client-side environment
  • A proven track record of delivering planning projects
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • Strong client-facing ability and commercial awareness
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members

You’ll be someone who is proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable taking ownership of projects and client relationships.
