Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, developing innovative products from concept through to production.

• Design and develop compact, robust mechanical systems for products, prototypes, and test equipment.
• Develop innovative mechanical solutions that meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate system prototypes.
• Produce detailed 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and design documentation.
• Conduct structural, thermal, and materials analysis to optimise system performance and reliability.
• Support prototype assembly, testing, validation, and design iteration activities.
• Contribute to the transition of technologies from concept through prototyping, testing, and into production.

• Experience in mechanical design and development.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Solid Works, Creo, Inventor, or similar.
• Experience using engineering analysis and simulation tools such as ANSYS.
• Experience developing precision mechanical systems and assemblies.
• Experience working on optical or photonics-based products would be an advantage
