Senior Integration Engineer; Mechanical

About the role

Lead the development of defined technical areas or subsystems within a programme, providing technical expertise and mentoring to junior engineers.

Own delivery of significant work packages or subsystems within a project.

Develop and validate engineering designs, ensuring compliance with standards.

Mentor and support Engineers within the team.

Lead problem‑solving and root‑cause investigations.

Interface with other disciplines to ensure design integration and coherence.

Provide input to project planning, scheduling, and risk management.

Implement and evolve the Integration Plan; author/update ICDs and interface tests.

Lead bring‑up sessions & design reviews.

Support readiness reviews (PDR/CDR/PRR) with integration evidence.

Degree‑qualified (or equivalent) engineer with adequate experience.

Proven experience in system or component‑level design.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Working knowledge of configuration, safety, and quality systems.

Experience in leading small teams or technical tasks.
