The B2 Licensed Helicopter Engineer role in Oxfordshire involves certifying line and non‑routine maintenance on Airbus H135/H145 rotorcraft. You will provide operational support to Flight Operations, lead inspections and repairs, and complete tasks on avionics and electrical systems. Replacing line‑replaceable units, performing simple testing, and supervising fitters are also required. This permanent position offers a negotiable salary with a joining bonus and an additional bonus after twelve months.
What you’ll be doing :- Certify line and non‑routine maintenance, and repairs on Airbus H135/H145 rotorcraft
- Provide operational support to Flight Operations
- Lead maintenance inspections and repairs under supervision
- Complete maintenance tasks including avionics and electrical systems
- Replace avionic line‑replaceable units and perform simple testing
- Supervise avionic and electrical fitters, certifying their work
- Conduct off‑aircraft avionic and electrical technical work in the workshop
- Assist with daily hangar operations, aircraft movement, and housekeeping
- Thorough knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems
- Experience with specialised test equipment for avionics and electrical systems
- Up‑to‑date understanding of CAA regulations, especially Pt 145 and Part M
- Experience with flight and airport operations, line maintenance
- CAA Part 66 B2 licence (essential)
- Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and MFTS (desirable)
- Experience with helicopter products and military aviation (desirable)
- Proven track record in flight operations and line maintenance, including certifying roles
