Building Services Design Engineer; Mechanical

About this opportunity

The current M&E team has a rapidly expanding profile and continues to succeed securing prominent national frameworks. Projects are spread across both the private and public sectors with many other blue‑chip clients. As a result, there are opportunities to progress quickly within a vibrant and successful team environment.

You will be actively involved in assisting in the delivery of the following services:

• Design services for projects up to £10m in value
• Engineering calculations including Cable sizing, lighting etc
• Preparation of specifications and drawings
• Evaluation of contractor’s design proposals
• Quality monitoring / site installation inspections
• Condition Surveys and strategic life cycle appraisals.

• We are looking to recruit enthusiastic Engineers who are degree qualified and actively working towards chartered status with CIBSE/IET.
• You should be capable of using suitable design software and AutoCAD/Revit.
• You will have experience working in a similar surveying / design consultancy practice, but candidates with experience with Building Services contractors will be considered.
• You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus enthusiasm and ambition.
