Project Manager

Position Overview

• Responsible for all Project Management aspects relating to the successful delivery of assigned projects.
• Collaborate with multi‑disciplined teams, demonstrating full accountability for on‑time delivery of agreed scope.
• Manage project timing and maintain an accurate, up‑to‑date timing plan, liaising with suppliers and internal resources to ensure visibility of project status and highlight concerns.
• Lead customer project meetings and visits, acting as the primary customer point of contact to manage relationships during project phases.
• Ensure all projects conform to Company Policies and Procedures.
• Manage Project and Series Engineering Changes in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures.
• Implement effective project scope and change management aligned with approved business processes, including preparation of commercial aspects of project‑related changes.
• Oversee pre‑production build phases and process equipment development in line with project requirements.
• Provide support and mentoring to Project Engineers as needed to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within an automotive company, ideally a 1st Tier Supplier.
• Degree or equivalent level education in a technically based subject.
• Relevant Project Management experience, ideally with a qualification such as PRINCE
  2.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Interpersonal skills enabling collaboration with stakeholders at all levels and development of strong working relationships.
• Problem‑solving and negotiation skills.
• Ability to plan, multi‑task and manage time effectively.
• Experience as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, Product Lifecycle Engineer, Project Coordinator, or NPI Engineer is advantageous.
