Job Role – Field Service Engineer A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering business. Covering customer sites across the South of England, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of industrial equipment, ensuring customers receive a first-class service. Field Service Engineering / Industrial Equipment / Manufacturing Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Field Service Engineer (Must Have) Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer Strong electrical and/or mechanical engineering background Experience working in automated environment (Manufacturing or Industrial) Engineering qualification (minimum Level 3 or equivalent) Full UK Driving Licence Must live within a 40-mile radius of Reading Willingness to travel across the South of England Essential Requirements of the Field Service Engineer Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial or manufacturing equipment Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on electrical and mechanical systems Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage your own workload Good understanding of health and safety procedures Flexible approach to travel and occasional overtime
Desirable Requirements
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics or automated machinery PLC fault-finding experience Installation and commissioning experience Previous experience working within manufacturing, industrial, packaging or material handling environments The Field Service Engineer Will Benefit From £51,000 basic salary Door-to-door overtime with realistic earnings of £55,000 Company van with personal use Monday-Friday days role Ongoing technical training and development Career progression within a growing engineering business Company pension and additional employee benefits If you are interested in this role and feel that you have the right skills, then please click Apply at the bottom of this advert.
