Graduate Mechanical ​/ Electromechanical Engineer

We're recruiting on behalf of an innovative engineering company developing specialist monitoring and sensing technology used in demanding industrial applications across the globe. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering graduate who enjoys practical engineering and wants to gain hands-on experience across manufacturing, product development, testing and deployment. You'll work on real engineering projects from day one alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.

The Role As a Graduate Engineer you'll gain exposure to the full product lifecycle, including:
Building, assembling and testing advanced electro-mechanical products Supporting the design, development and improvement of new technologies Working from engineering drawings, schematics and assembly instructions Carrying out precision mechanical and electrical assembly, including soldering Performing testing, fault finding and quality inspections Preparing equipment for customer projects and evaluating returned systems Maintaining engineering documentation and equipment records Assisting with product commissioning, validation and deployment activities Providing technical support both remotely and, occasionally, on customer sites Working safely whilst following engineering and quality procedures About You We're looking for someone who has: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or a related STEM discipline A genuine interest in hands-on engineering and building things Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn Good attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings Experience using hand tools (through university projects, hobbies or placements is welcome) Excellent communication skills The ability to work independently as well as within a team The right to work in the UK What's on Offer?
