Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor

Ashbys Consulting are working with a widely recognised, multi-discipline construction consultancy in Oxfordshire, who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor.

The company work with a variety of public and private sector clients, and assist in the delivery of major residential, commercial and industrial projects across the UK. They offer a full suite of cost, design, planning, Health & Safety, and design consultancy services.

Your responsibilities will include:

Advise on services costs involved in building projects

Provide the full suite of MEP cost and commercial management project services

Evaluation of costs and advise on alternative proposals

Advise on contract arrangements and conditions

Undertaking pre and post contract work Monitoring of change with the scope of works

Preparing and issuing of contract documents through the supply chain

Liaise with the client, main contractor and other departments

Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates

Produce accurate monthly reports and attend financial and project review meetings as required

You will need proven experience of working in a consultancy environment, and have an extensive understanding of the commercial management of MEP projects. Ideally, you would be degree qualified and RICS chartered.
