Projectsrangefromsupportingsmallerhistoricschemesfor Oxford Universitytomultidisciplinary ,multimillion-pound projects,givingyouexposuretoprojectsofdifferentsizes,sectorsandcomplexity.
As a Degree Apprentice Structural Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and technicians, developing your technical capability while contributing to the delivery of structural engineering projects.
Working within a collaborative environment will give you the opportunity to develop your understanding of structural engineering design and principles, use industry design and modelling software, and work with colleagues from different disciplines.
Day to day you'll be:
- Supportingthedevelopmentanddeliveryofstructuralengineeringdesignsandmodelsthroughdifferentstagesofprojects.
- Developingyourskillsusingengineeringdesignandmodellingsoftware,includingCADand Revit3
Dmodelling. - Applyinganddevelopingyourunderstandingofstructuralengineeringprinciplesthroughpracticalexperienceonliveprojects.
- Workingalongsideexperiencedengineersandtechniciansandcollaboratingwithotherdisciplines,including architects,civilengineersandplanners.
- Contributingtoprojectsacrosseducation,healthcare,residential,andscienceandtechnology,rangingfromsmallerhistoricschemesfor
Oxford
Universitytomultidisciplinary,multimillion-pound projects.
Earn while you learn. Whichever apprenticeship route you take, your tuition and qualification fees are on us. You will work towards a Level 6 Civil Engineering degree in conjunction with one of our Training Providers.
Your training provider and study arrangement will be discussed further during the recruitment process.
For this role, Training Provider options may include:

QualificationsFor our Level 6 apprenticeship you will need to achieve a minimum of 112 UCAS points, from one of the following:
A levelBBC (excluding General Studies). You must have Mathematics at grade B or above and one other analytical science subject at grade B or above. Analytical science subjects can include Physics, Biology/Human Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Further Mathematics…
