Inspection Engineer – Pressure Equipment

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8am - 16.30pm

Location:

Field-based role covering a large territory across South Wales, the South West, Midlands, London, the South East and East Anglia. Applicants should be comfortable with regular travel. Given the size of the territory, occasional overnight stays will be required.

Industry: This role supports customers across the fuel, oil & gas, tanker, and bulk liquid storage industries, making it ideal for candidates with experience in these sectors or similar industrial environments.

• Inspecting pressure equipment, pressure vessels, piping systems, safety devices, and related assets.
• Assessing equipment condition and producing clear technical reports and recommendations.
• Supporting customers with compliance, safety, and integrity requirements.
• Working independently across customer sites while maintaining the highest safety standards.
• Providing technical guidance to colleagues and customers when required.

• Pressure equipment inspection or engineering
• Mechanical, maintenance, reliability, integrity, or process engineering
• Pressure vessels, boilers, steam systems, piping, or safety-critical equipment
• Petrochemical, oil & gas, chemicals, manufacturing, power generation, utilities, or other industrial environments
• Engineering surveying, NDT, asset integrity, statutory inspections, or compliance-focused roles

• Engineering apprenticeship, ONC, HNC, HND, Engineering Technician qualification, or equivalent industry experience.
• Understanding of pressure equipment, engineering standards, and industrial safety requirements.
• Strong report writing and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel.
