Scope
Oxford House, synonymous with the import and retail of home appliances, kitchens, home furniture, bedding and office solutions, is seeking to recruit the services of a Customer Service Coordinator to join its team. The ideal candidate will form part of the Customer Service and After Sales Team, primarily responsible for the coordination of after‑sales support.
Responsibilities- Support the customer call agents, while liaising in an effective manner with technicians and spare parts personnel.
- Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the service department.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high service and technical standards.
- Communicate with clients and actively participate in escalated complaints targeting resolution.
- Monitor technical response time, while being participant in appointment scheduling.
- Collaborate effectively with the Manager for the optimization of positive outcomes.
- Liaise with foreign and local counterparts to fulfill customer service obligations.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Contribute towards after‑sales service development, identifying processes that can be improved, and flagging concerns.
- Maintain reporting systems to track strategic goal accomplishment.
- Ensure full health and safety compliance is in place, reporting incidents as required.
- Mentor the team, participate in training opportunities, targeting positive outcomes and continuous personal development initiatives.
- Fluency in both Maltese and English languages with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- A Level standard of education and proven experience in after‑sales, customer service, or sales support.
- Technical knowledge on home appliances is an advantage.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft applications and Shireburn software is considered an asset.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and patience.
