Are you outgoing and enjoy interacting with people? Do you enjoy attending live events? The Community and Events team are in need of enthusiastic people to join our volunteer cheer teams at events people are participating in in aid of Blue Cross. These are events like the London Marathon and the Oxford Half. You’ll be an important part of our support team, encouraging our fundraisers at key mass participation events throughout the year.

We would love you to join us and help us help more pets in need.

• Attending mass participation events such as the London Marathon and Oxford Half
• Setup and takedown of flags and banners (all items will be provided)
• Cheering and encouraging Blue Cross participants as they take part in their challenge
• Be a part of creating an amazing atmosphere
• Acting as an ambassador for Blue Cross at all times during the event

• A friendly, happy, and excitable personality
• Happy to be part of a team
• Good timekeeping and reliability
• Willingness to make yourself heard and be seen through the crowds
• A willingness to travel to and from events

• You’ll gain a variety of experience for your CV
• You’ll meet new people and get involved with your local community
• You’ll have great fun with likeminded people
• You’ll be helping more pets in need
