OverviewThis exciting new role will play a crucial part in a small, friendly grants and finance team, ensuring an effective and efficient service is provided to the department at a time of growth. The post will have a particular focus on purchasing and post‑award grant administration, and the holder will work flexibly to provide resilient support. This varied post may suit someone looking to build a career in university administration.
Responsibilities- Provide efficient purchasing services and manage post‑award grant administration for the department.
- Work flexibly to support the team and adapt to changing priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth grant processes.
- Highly skilled administrator with an eye for detail and continuous improvement.
- Experience in grants or financial roles (or both).
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
