Description

The Financial Accountant's responsibilities include:

Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial accounts and management reports.
Manage month end and year end processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are recorded accurately.
Conduct the budgeting and forecasting processes and provide variance analysis.
Ensure tax and VAT compliance.
Improve financial controls and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

A strong academic background in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
Professional accounting qualifications or working towards obtaining one.
Experience in accounting or a similar role.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
